The "Alzheimer's Support Group" is changing its name to the "Caregivers Support Group" effective October 14th. This group is now open to those who are offering support to family members impacted by Alzheimer's, Dementia, or any other chronic illness!
 
Saguaro Lake Paddleboarding & Kayaking Tour

Cost: $150.00 per person
 
(Cost includes, Paddleboard / Kayak, bus transportation, light snacks, water bottles, dry bag, and 3 1/2 guided tour of Saguaro Lake)

Residents will meet at the Clubhouse by 7:00am and the bus will leave promptly at 7:10am.
Arrival at Saguaro Lake by 8am where the the paddleboards and kayaks will be ready for you.

You will enjoy a beautiful 3 1/2 hour guided tour of Saguaro Lake. 

Leaving the lake by 11:30am and arriving back at Trilogy by 12:30pm.
All the gear, light snacks, water bottles and the use of dry bags will be available for each participant. There is plenty of room for personal items if anyone would like to bring extra water and snacks. We recommend that guests leave their expensive sunglasses and electronics at home or in the vehicle. Guides are really good about taking pictures throughout the tour and then sending a link with the pictures and videos within the next day.
 
Residents can choose to use a single kayak, share a double kayak, or if they have experience, a stand up paddleboard.

Dr. Berkowitz  
 
 
Dr. Joshua Berkowitz is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Vascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. He completed his Fellowship in General Cardiovascular Medicine and Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Berkowitz completed his residency and internship in Medicine at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center after earning his Doctorate of Medicine from New York University. Dr. Berkowitz moved from New York and
joined Tri-City Cardiology in 2006.
Dr. Berkowitz specializes in coronary and peripheral arterial disease diagnosis and treatment. He has expertise in the latest non-surgical, less invasive treatment options including endovascular carotid and lower extremity stenting, laser, and atherectomy. His medical interests include diabetic coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and strategies for optimal anti-coagulation in the catheterization laboratory. Dr. Berkowitz is currently chairman of the Department of Cardiology at Banner Desert Hospital.
