Dr. Andrew Bergeson, DO is an emergency medicine physician and leader with Canyon State Emergency Partners. He graduated from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona in 2014 and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island. During residency, Dr. Bergeson was actively involved in research, including presenting his work at both regional and national conferences.

 

Since returning to Arizona, Dr. Bergeson has continued to build his career in emergency medicine and was recognized in 2019 with the Aces of Hearts Award from Arizona Emergency Medical Systems (AEMS) for his contributions to emergency medical and trauma care. Today, he serves in a leadership role with Canyon State Emergency Partners, overseeing the Gilbert HSED associated with Arizona General Hospital.

 

Dr. Bergeson is especially passionate about provider and community education and supporting emergency medicine providers in finding ways to build sustainable careers and avoid burnout. Outside of medicine, he enjoys outdoor adventures and traveling with friends and family.
